It’s only August, but I can already say, 2019 is going to be a huge year for ZeroNorth. Both our customer base and ARR have exploded, we’ve added leaders in technology, sales and marketing and our engineering team has delivered incredible new capabilities to the ZeroNorth platform. Customers love what they see, and the feedback we have received is beyond what I imagined.

The ZeroNorth platform is delivering outstanding value to our customers, but there is so much more we need to do. We want to build our business so that we can help our current and future customers get the most from the technology as they work to drive security across the entire software lifecycle.

As we look toward the coming year, the Board and the leadership team have high expectations. We are going to scale this business and create even more value for our customers. To do this, we need the right mix of leadership.

Which brings me to today’s news: I could not be more pleased to welcome John Worrall to ZeroNorth as our new chief executive officer. As CEO, John will work closely with me, the rest of the Board and the company as a whole to execute on our strategy of delivering the most comprehensive solution for risk-based vulnerability orchestration across applications and infrastructure.

Bringing John on board as CEO will provide ZeroNorth with a leader who has more than 25 years of experience in operations, strategy, sales and marketing—most of it in cybersecurity. John is no stranger to ZeroNorth. He began working closely with me in January as we headed towards our Series A launch, and since then, he’s been a close partner in the areas of strategic planning, marketing and sales. I’ve enjoyed getting to know John and am 100% committed to his success.

That said, I am not going anywhere; I’ll continue to be intimately involved in ZeroNorth, working closely with John on our product and partner strategies. I’ll also continue to support our customers. And, as the Board chair, I’ll offer John—and the rest of the ZeroNorth team—the support they need, whenever they need it. Most importantly, as I said before, I’ll be there to help the team deliver the platform capabilities our customers need, and to ensure our customers get every bit of possible value from ZeroNorth’s technology.
